CYK shareholder, Rich Yovanovich successfully obtained approval from the Board of County Commissioners who unanimously approved the rezoning of two single family parcels on Vanderbilt Beach to Residential Tourist district zoning.
The rezone of single-family beach front lots to a commercial use is unprecedented. The rezone allowed for the approval of a private beach club on the two parcels. The private beach club is named Paraiso which means paradise. The private beach club will provide private beach access, private pool areas, indoor and outdoor dining, and world class amenities. This is the first private beach club approved in Collier County in over 20 years.
